The challenge
ESSS, a global leader in engineering simulation software with a portfolio of subsidiary brands, faced a significant scaling challenge:
Inconsistent branding across diverse markets and target audiences (from oil & gas to engineering college students).
Inefficient workflows causing bottlenecks in producing high volumes of marketing collateral.
A need for agility to deploy localized, yet on-brand, monthly campaigns quickly across digital channels.
The solution
As part of the in-house design team, I implemented a structured, scalable design system to unify the global marketing output.
1. Centralized Brand Management:
Developed and maintained distinct yet cohesive visual identities for the subsidiaries.
Created comprehensive asset libraries to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
2. Full-Funnel Marketing Collateral:
Designed and produced a wide array of materials, including:
Digital: Social media posts, ads, ebooks, email marketing layouts, and website updates (WordPress).
Print: Brochures, flyers, and event materials.
Video: Edited motion graphics and ads for digital campaigns.
3. Process Optimization:
Built structured templates for recurring assets (e.g., social posts, email headers), drastically reducing production time.
Enabled the global marketing team to execute faster, smarter, and with brand precision.
